Grown from our cool vineyard sites in southern Napa Valley, Cabernet Franc develops slowly to reveal vibrant dark fruits, earth and spice. This classic Bordeaux varietal attributes much intensity of fruit and dark, earthy components to our nal blend of Signature Cabernet Sauvignon each year. On its own, Cabernet Franc possesses great power with poise.

Young, firm and round, our 2009 Signature Cabernet Franc is also resolved in fl avor, stature and ripeness. Opened by the alluring perfumes of violet, black tea and incense, the palate is more hedonistic— displaying plush blackberry, cassis and juicy blueberry mingled with dusty baker’s chocolate, cigar box and espresso. Spicy nuances of cinnamon, clove and cola are welcome on the fi nish.
